Are you feeling overwhelmed? Being overwhelmed doesn't make you successful. It only creates a space for you to never get things done. Day in and day out, you feel as if you are in the non-stop routine of procrastination. It is so easy to pass the blame on something or someone. I was on a coaching call with a young lady last week and she asked me, “how do I get things done?” I had to laugh because I sometimes feel as if I fall behind on projects or I am not on top of myself like I should, however I definitely have set somethings in place that help me get things done. Here are 4 ways to fight procrastination.

  1. Batch work: if you anything like me, you are probably marketing yourself online, writing blogs, making calls, handling emails etc. I mean you are doing everything. If there is one thing I have learned when it comes to creating videos and blogs, batching is best. You can make up to 3 videos and 3 blogs in one sitting. The next day edit your videos and so forth. This will help save you time and frustration in the end.
  2. List: Listing all of the your “To-do's” and posting them in a visible area will allow you to see what you have completed or uncompleted. You can use this in relation with your batch work. It is an amazing way to reduce your procrastination.
